London Calling

Danielle here....reporting from London town. Visited some campuses today, and students are extremely busy with finals this week. Most of the classrooms were closed and students were locked up in the sewing room, but I will post some photos as soon as they come out from the finals cave. So far, we have lots of great students from London with cutting edge style working away and will be available soon for some photos so we can get a sense of how fashionable Londoners interpret the latest in fashion trends on their side of the pond. I have seen a lot of Phillip Lim styles, with bold dot prints and mod dresses. Went to Queen Elizabeth hall where there was a dj spinning all the northern soul classics from the famous Mod movement, and the girls were wearing short pushbacked stiletto heels and a-line 60's style frocks. Lots of cute contemporary twists of the classic mod fashion of swinging London. Also a lot of graphic black and white print tees with skinny jeans and heavy bangs with head bands. I will be in Paris on Saturday, and will have lots of fun style photos out on the sunny cobblestone streets at that time. Stay tuned!
